Chandigarh, December 19: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said that the people of the state continue to place “non-stop trust” in the BJP-led government, asserting that the sustained strengthening of the road network over the past 11 years has unsettled the opposition.
Replying to a question raised by Congress विधायक Geeta Bhukkal during Question Hour on the second day of the Haryana Assembly’s winter session, the Chief Minister said the state government believes in delivering work on the ground, which has earned it consistent public confidence.
Saini remarked that the opposition’s repeated attempts to protest by displaying posters or newspapers inside the House do not bother the government. “We are a government that works. Previous governments did not focus on strengthening road infrastructure, but over the last 11 years, Haryana’s road network has seen significant improvement. That is what is troubling the opposition,” he said.
Highlighting ongoing infrastructure projects, the Chief Minister referred to the greenfield expressway being developed between Jhajjar and Chhuchhakwas. He added that despite such major developments, opposition members have not even acknowledged the government’s efforts. “At the very least, they should thank the government for improving road connectivity,” he said.
