National Times Bureau :- Two colleges under Delhi University were thrown into panic on Wednesday morning after they received bomb threat emails, prompting swift action from security agencies. The threats were reported at Ramjas College in North Campus and Desh Bandhu College in Kalkaji.
As soon as the information surfaced, teams from the Delhi Police along with the bomb disposal squad reached both campuses and began thorough inspections. Authorities confirmed that no suspicious items have been found so far, and the searches are still underway. Officials said that further updates will be shared once the investigation progresses.
This incident comes a month after a private school in Chanakyapuri also received a similar bomb threat, which later turned out to be a hoax. Police investigations in that case had found the premises completely safe.
The fresh threats have once again raised concerns about security breaches and the misuse of mass communication platforms to spread fear. Authorities are now trying to trace the source of the emails.
