Dhakoli, November 29, 2025: A blood donation drive was organised on Saturday at Guru Nanak Market in Dhakoli to help hospitals facing a shortage of blood. The camp was held with the blessings of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji and jointly organised by Vishvas Foundation Panchkula, HDFC Bank and the Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch Mohali.
A medical team from the Blood Bank of GMSH, Sector 16 Chandigarh, led by Dr. Simarjeet Kaur Gill, collected 50 units of blood during the camp. According to Rishi Saral Vishvas, Joint Secretary of the Vishvas Foundation, the event began with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp. Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of the Vishvas Foundation, along with Zirakpur MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa, presented badges to the donors and honoured them with certificates and gifts.

Members of the Guru Nanak Market Vyapar Mandal, including President Manish Gupta, and several volunteers from Vishvas Foundation—Rishi Shashwat Vishvas, Shyam Sundar Sahni, Savita Sahni, Manohar Lal Chugh, Usha Rani, Bharat Bhushan Nayyar and Promila Sood—were present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that many people wrongly believe blood donation causes weakness. She clarified that donating blood does not harm the body and encouraged everyone to donate once every 90 days. She added that blood donation not only saves lives but also keeps the donor healthy, calling it one of the greatest acts of service.
