Calgary ( Rajeev Sharma): Authorities are currently searching for an immigration detainee who escaped from Rockyview Hospital in Calgary during a medical assessment, according to official reports.
The individual in question, Jagdeep Singh, was in the custody of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and is under investigation under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for alleged involvement in organized criminal activities. Further details regarding the investigation have not been disclosed.
The CBSA is collaborating closely with the Calgary Police and other law-enforcement agencies to locate the missing detainee.
