Chandigarh, November 5 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid his respects at the historic Nada Sahib Gurdwara in Panchkula on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv. He prayed for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.
During the visit, the Chief Minister performed the traditional circumambulation of the Nishan Sahib within the gurdwara premises and bowed his head in reverence at the holy site.

Extending his heartfelt greetings to the people on this sacred occasion, CM Saini said that he prayed to Guru Nanak Dev Ji for everyone’s good health and progress in life. He added that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s divine teachings on social welfare and the upliftment of humanity remain timeless and relevant even today.
He said that the day serves as an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to follow the Guru’s teachings in daily life. Recalling Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s core principles — Naam Japo (remember the Divine), Kirat Karo (earn honestly), and Vand Chhako (share with others) — Saini emphasized that adopting these values can strengthen the spirit of service, generosity, and social harmony in society.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Srishti Gupta, District President Ajay Mittal, OSD Dr. Prabhleen, Head Granthi of Nada Sahib Gurdwara Giani Jagjit Singh, and other distinguished guests.
