Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda Fights for Life After Serious Road Crash in Himachal

Mohali (Gurpreet Singh): Punjabi music star Rajvir Jawanda is in a critical condition at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after a devastating road accident in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The 30-year-old singer was placed on ventilator support shortly after being admitted on Saturday, following multiple injuries sustained to his head and spine.

According to hospital authorities, his condition remains unchanged and life-threatening. Although some vital signs, like blood pressure, have shown slight improvement, doctors say the next 24 hours are crucial in determining whether his condition stabilizes.

The Accident: Sudden Encounter With Stray Animals

The incident occurred on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road, where Jawanda, riding a motorcycle with friends, lost control trying to avoid two bulls fighting in the middle of the road. In an attempt to steer away, he reportedly collided with a jeep coming from the opposite direction.

Eyewitnesses at the site said the impact flung Jawanda several feet, leaving him unconscious and severely injured. Locals and friends rushed him to a nearby hospital, where initial medical reports indicated a faint pulse and unconscious state.

From there, he was moved to Civil Hospital Panchkula, where he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest before being shifted to Fortis Mohali for specialized treatment.

Hospital Statement: Head and Spinal Injuries, Monitored Hourly

In an official bulletin released Saturday night, Fortis Hospital confirmed that Jawanda had arrived in an extremely serious condition and was immediately attended to by the neurosurgery and emergency teams. Imaging and diagnostics revealed severe trauma to the head and cervical spine, along with complications due to the earlier cardiac episode.

“He is on full ventilator support and remains in intensive care. Our specialists are monitoring neurological and cardiac activity round-the-clock,” said a hospital spokesperson.
