Chandigarh: Giving a message of fitness and environmental care, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday arrived at the Haryana Legislative Assembly on a bicycle, joined by senior leaders of his cabinet.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that cycling is not only a healthy habit but also a step towards keeping the environment clean. “A healthy lifestyle begins with small steps like regular exercise. Cycling helps us remain fit and also reduces pollution,” Saini noted.

He further pointed out that the government is intensifying its campaign against drug addiction in the state. “Drugs are a major threat to society and youth. Through such initiatives, we want to spread the message of a healthier, drug-free Haryana,” he added.
The bicycle ride drew attention in the Assembly premises, as leaders stressed the importance of setting examples through personal action.
