New Delhi (National Times): The national capital once again witnessed a security scare on Wednesday after five schools, including those in Prasad Nagar and Dwarka Sector-5, reported receiving bomb threats through emails.
As soon as the messages were flagged, Delhi Police and Fire Department teams reached the schools and began extensive security checks. Students and staff were safely moved out of the buildings as a precautionary step.
Part of a Series of Threats
The fresh wave of threats comes only days after several schools in Dwarka received similar emails. Earlier this year, over 50 schools across Delhi were also targeted with identical hoax messages, creating widespread panic among parents and students.
Security Agencies Investigating
Officials said efforts are underway to track down the senders of these emails. While no suspicious items have been found so far, the authorities continue to scan campuses thoroughly.
Police have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of children and staff, urging the public not to panic.
