Teacher Dies in Tragic Accident at Mohali Cow Shelter

National Times Bureau :- A tragic accident occurred at a cow shelter in Phase 1, Mohali, where a 51-year-old woman lost her life after her dupatta got entangled in a fodder-cutting machine.

The deceased has been identified as Amandeep Kaur, a school teacher from Kharar and cousin of Cyber Crime DSP Rupinder Kaur Sohi. According to initial investigations, negligence is being cited as a possible cause.

Kaur was feeding cattle when her dupatta got caught in the machine, pulling her in and causing fatal injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Her body has been placed in the Phase 1 government hospital mortuary.

Family members said the deceased’s daughter lives in Canada. Her last rites will be performed after her arrival.
