India Demonstrates Unified Commitment on Terrorism After Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, June 10, 2025 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened over 50 Members of Parliament from seven multi-party delegations today at his official residence, marking the culmination of an extensive diplomatic campaign to globalize India’s position against terrorism following the April 22 Pahalgam attack and subsequent Operation Sindoor.

These parliamentary delegations, representing parties including the BJP, Congress, DMK, NCP(SP), and Shiv Sena, journeyed to more than 30 countries spanning continents to brief governments, lawmakers, think tanks, and the international media. Led by prominent figures such as Shashi Tharoor, Anand Sharma, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Supriya Sule, and Brijesh Chowta, their mission underscored India’s zero-tolerance stance on cross-border terror and sought to highlight Pakistan’s alleged involvement  .

During the briefing, MPs shared their diplomatic engagements, detailing global responses and strengthening collective resolve against terrorism. Prime Minister Modi commended this bipartisan effort, describing it as “a rare moment of political consensus” reflective of a unified national front in countering terror  .

Sources indicate that the delegations emphasized Operation Sindoor as a calibrated military action aimed exclusively at terror infrastructure, while biblically stating that future terror attacks would be treated as acts of war  .

This meeting reinforced India’s strategy of internal unity and external outreach, seeking enhanced international cooperation through forums like the Financial Action Task Force. Officials believe that the global narrative promoted by these delegations has significantly bolstered India’s diplomatic position  .
