The Indian parliamentary delegation included MPs from various political backgrounds and visited Ethiopia as part of India’s global campaign to highlight its counter-terrorism policies post-Operation Sindoor. The delegation also aimed to reaffirm India’s commitment to international cooperation, trade partnerships, and shared democratic values with African nations.
During the meeting, both sides discussed strategies to enhance bilateral relations, with a focus on economic development, infrastructure partnerships, and counter-terrorism collaboration. Supriya Sule emphasized India’s desire to be a reliable partner in Africa’s development journey and commended Ethiopia’s strategic importance in the Horn of Africa.
