Amritsar (National Times): The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, recently welcomed a delegation of students and teachers from Government College Badsar, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, at the Akal Takht Secretariat. During their interaction, the Jathedar emphasized the significance of unity, harmony, and fostering inter-state brotherhood.
The visiting group shared that prior to their visit, some individuals had cautioned them about potential safety concerns in Punjab. However, upon arrival, they felt nothing but warmth and hospitality, experiencing the welcoming spirit of the land of the Gurus.
During the discussion, the delegation also mentioned plans to establish a Guru Ghar (Sikh place of worship) in Himachal Pradesh, underscoring the region’s growing spiritual connection with Sikhism.
Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj reassured them that Punjab, as the sacred land of the Gurus, embodies peace, inclusivity, and respect for all. He encouraged people from both states to strengthen their bonds and live in harmony, building bridges of mutual understanding and cooperation.
