New Delhi, Match 18, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined Truth Social, the social media platform popular with US President Donald Trump, marking another sign of their growing rapport. Trump shared Modi’s recent podcast with Lex Fridman on Truth Social, prompting Modi to create an account.
Modi announced his arrival with a post saying he was “delighted to be on Truth Social” and looked forward to meaningful conversations. In another post, he thanked Trump for promoting his podcast, where Modi discussed his life, India’s global outlook, and other key issues.
Earlier in the day, Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon attended the Raisina Dialogue 2025 in Delhi. Luxon spoke about the long-standing relationship between India and New Zealand, spanning over 200 years. He highlighted India’s growing importance as a trade partner, supplying pharmaceuticals and machinery, while New Zealand remains a key destination for Indian tourists and students.
Following their speeches, both leaders visited the Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib and paid their respects.
