DIG Ropar Range and SSP Mohali Inaugurate Modern Beat Box cum PCR/Traffic Booth in Zirakpur

Zirakpur/Mohali, February 27, 2025: The Punjab Police continues to modernize and upgrade its services with the inauguration of another Modern Beat Box cum PCR/Traffic Booth at Chatt lights in Zirakpur. The event was graced by DIG Ropar Range S. H S Bhullar and SSP Mohali Sh. Deepak Pareek, who were present to officially open the new facility.

The inauguration ceremony was held on the orders of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who has been actively pushing for the modernization of the Punjab Police. In his speech, DIG Bhullar emphasized the importance of this new facility in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force. He also highlighted the efforts being made to modernize the Punjab Police, which includes the implementation of the Bit Box and the Road Safety Force. said that this initiative will prove to be very helpful, and more such booths will be set up in the future. He stated that through this initiative, Mohali will be developed as a model district, where the security system will be further strengthened.

The new Modern Beat Box cum PCR/Traffic Booth is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and will serve as a central hub for the police to monitor and respond to any emergencies or traffic incidents in the area. This will not only improve the response time of the police but also ensure the safety and security of the citizens of Zirakpur.

SSP Deepak Pareek said that The inauguration of this new facility is a testament to the commitment of the Punjab Police in providing the best services to the people of Punjab. With the support of the Chief Minister and the dedication of the police force, the modernization of the Punjab Police will continue to progress, making the state a safer place for all. He also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his unwavering support and vision for a modernized Punjab Police.

SSP Pareek said that this was the third such modern beat box, following the first one at Majri, which deputy inspector general of police, Ropar Range, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, inaugurated recently and second one on airport road and today third at Chatt light points. Additional modern beat boxes are planned for Airport Chowk and Zirakpur.

The inauguration of the Modern Beat Box cum PCR/Traffic Booth marks another milestone in the modernization of the Punjab Police. This facility will not only improve the efficiency of the police force but also ensure the safety and security of the citizens. The Punjab Police remains committed to its mission of serving and protecting the people of Punjab.
