Rajeev Sharma :- A shocking murder case has surfaced in the national capital after a 60-year-old security guard was brutally killed in what police described as a revenge attack stemming from an old dispute. Delhi Police have arrested four accused, including two minors, in connection with the gruesome crime that took place on May 24, 2026.
According to investigators, the accused first threatened the elderly guard before assaulting him with sticks. They later allegedly ran him over twice with a Mahindra Bolero Neo vehicle, leading to his death on the spot. Police said the murder was carefully planned following an altercation that had occurred a few days earlier between the victim and one of the juvenile accused.
During the earlier confrontation, the security guard had allegedly abused the minor, triggering anger among the accused. Investigators believe the juveniles, along with their associates, conspired to eliminate the guard in retaliation for the alleged humiliation.
In an attempt to evade identification after the crime, the accused reportedly removed the original registration number plate of the vehicle used in the murder. However, police later traced the Mahindra Bolero Neo, which was registered in the name of a relative of one of the juvenile suspects, and recovered the vehicle used in the incident.
The arrested accused have been identified as 22-year-old Vinay and 18-year-old Ayush Chauhan, while two others involved are minors. Vinay, a resident of Bahadurgarh in Haryana, is a second-year BCA student, whereas Ayush belongs to Delhi’s Najafgarh area.
Police officials stated that during interrogation, all four accused confessed to their direct involvement in the murder. Further investigation is underway to determine whether additional individuals were involved in planning or assisting in the crime.
