(National Times Bureau) February 20, 2025– The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is receiving overwhelming support from all sections of Punjab, especially the youth, for its membership drive. This was stated by Youth Akali Dal’s Mohali Rural District President, Tarnbir Singh Timmi Punnia, in a recent statement.
He emphasized that SAD is Punjab’s only regional party that has consistently stood for Punjab, Punjabi culture, and Sikh interests. According to him, young people believe that strengthening SAD is essential for Punjab’s progress. From day one, the membership drive has witnessed mass participation, with people voluntarily joining the party.
Youth Wing Actively Engaged
Punnia further stated that Youth Akali Dal leaders are not only renewing their memberships but also actively spreading awareness about the membership campaign. They are encouraging people across Punjab to reconnect with the party.
He credited former MLA N.K. Sharma and national leader Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar for leading the Youth Akali Dal towards growth and ensuring the success of this statewide campaign.
Call for Unity
In his concluding remarks, Punnia urged all Punjabis to set aside past grievances and rejoin SAD to help steer Punjab back on the path of development and prosperity.
