Youth to Play Key Role in Achieving Viksit Bharat 2047 Goals: Rao Inderjit Singh

Chandigarh, January 24 — Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh on Saturday said that newly appointed youth selected through the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Mela will play a decisive role in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. He described these appointments not merely as employment opportunities but as responsibilities of nation-building that must be fulfilled with integrity, dedication and a spirit of service.

Addressing the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Mela programme in Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh distributed appointment letters to 218 newly recruited candidates. The event also featured a live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address. Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar was also present on the occasion.

The Union minister said that Rozgar Mela initiatives conducted across the country have resulted in the distribution of appointment letters to more than 8,000 women candidates, calling it a significant step towards women empowerment. He said the Rozgar Mela reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to providing transparent, timely and fair employment opportunities to the youth under strong and decisive leadership.

Emphasising the values associated with public service, Rao Inderjit Singh said that government jobs demand discipline, honesty, transparency and a strong sense of duty towards citizens. He urged the newly appointed youth to stay connected with their roots and discharge their responsibilities with sincerity and commitment.

Expressing confidence in the young workforce, the minister said the newly recruited candidates would play a meaningful role in realising the goals of a developed India and help steer the nation towards reclaiming its position as a global leader.
