Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Monday that the state’s youth represent the single largest driving force behind regional advancement and the national vision of building a developed India by 2047. Addressing the assumption of office ceremony of newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha state president Akshit Dahiya at the party office in Panchkula, Saini emphasized that channelling the potential, vitality, and skills of young citizens in the right direction remains the paramount priority of the government.
The Chief Minister asserted that contemporary youth are not merely future prospects but active architects of the present. Under the national leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expanding opportunities in startups, modern technology, vocational skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship have enabled youth across Haryana to distinguish themselves in athletics, academia, industry, and national defence. Saini reiterated the administration’s commitment to creating an enabling ecosystem that delivers quality education, sports infrastructure, and direct employment avenues to foster economic self-reliance.
Calling upon youth wing volunteers to initiate direct engagement at every electoral booth, Saini urged workers to reach out to apolitical youth and integrate them into nation-building efforts. He encouraged cadres to organize sustained grassroots campaigns targeting substance abuse prevention, environmental conservation, sports promotion, and the delivery of government welfare schemes to vulnerable households. Saini underscored that social service, continuous public presence, and organisational discipline define the party’s ethos beyond electoral cycles.
Congratulating Dahiya on assuming his new responsibilities, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that the youth wing would broaden its outreach across the state by combining youth energy with the guidance of senior leadership. Several prominent dignitaries attended the event, including state party president Archana Gupta, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma, and general secretary organization Phanindranath Sharma.
