Youth Participation Key to Realizing PM’s Vision of a Developed India: Harvinder Kalyan

Chandigarh, March 31 – Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan has urged young people to actively engage in politics and contribute to the nation’s progress. Speaking at the State-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament, organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Haryana, he emphasized the role of youth in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.

Calling the Parliament and Assembly the temples of democracy, Kalyan highlighted their role in shaping laws, policies, and development plans. He reiterated Modi’s “One Nation, One Legislature” vision, stating that initiatives will soon be launched across Haryana to involve youth, women, and cooperative societies in governance.

Referring to the 11 pledges of Constitution Day, he stressed that the Constitution is a dynamic framework requiring active participation from every citizen. On this occasion, Nehru Yuva Kendra Haryana Director Dr. Gurmel Singh Bajwa welcomed Kalyan with a bouquet.

Nimisha Suryavanshi Secures First Place
Nimisha Suryavanshi won the top spot in the competition, followed by Bhoomika in second place and Dakshita Gulia in third. Dr. Bajwa announced that the top three participants will represent Haryana at the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament in Delhi on April 2-3. A total of 87 young men and women participated, expressing their views on India’s constitutional journey, responsibilities, and progress over 75 years.
