Yo Yo Honey Singh Faces Controversy Over New Punjabi Song ‘Naagin’

National Times Bureau :- Punjab’s popular rapper and music producer Yo Yo Honey Singh has found himself in the midst of fresh controversy following a complaint lodged by a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. BJP Punjab co-convenor Arvind Sharma approached the state’s Director General of Police, claiming that Honey Singh’s latest release, the Punjabi track “Naagin,” contains objectionable and inappropriate material.

In his complaint, Sharma alleged that the song’s video features suggestive dance sequences and visuals that he considers vulgar, asserting that they disrespect women and clash with the values of Punjabi culture. He also expressed concern over the video being available online without strict age restrictions, arguing that unrestricted access could negatively influence children and teenagers.

Sharma urged the authorities to take strict legal action, including registering a case against the singer and the production team, and called for the immediate removal of the video from all digital platforms, including YouTube. As of now, there has been no official response from Yo Yo Honey Singh or Punjab Police regarding the complaint, and the matter is expected to undergo further scrutiny by the authorities.
