Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): A 53-year-old woman has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan in central Alberta on Friday afternoon, according to Rimbey RCMP.
Police said they received a report of the collision at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 20 and 20A, just north of Rimbey. When officers arrived, they discovered that a motorcycle carrying two riders had collided with a minivan.
The woman, who was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle, was airlifted to the hospital by STARS Air Ambulance but later succumbed to her injuries.
