Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Reportedly Exchange Rings in Private Hyderabad Ceremony

Hyderabad, Oct 4, 2025: South Indian film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have reportedly gotten engaged in an intimate ceremony held in Hyderabad, according to sources close to their families.

While neither actor has issued an official confirmation, reports indicate that the engagement took place around 11:15 a.m. on Friday at Deverakonda’s residence. The event was attended only by close family members, and no pictures from the ceremony have been released so far.

The two, long rumored to be in a relationship, are said to be planning their wedding for February 2026. Their strong on-screen chemistry in films such as Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade had fueled years of speculation about their off-screen romance.

Rashmika Mandanna, often called the “National Crush,” rose to prominence with Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and went on to feature in major hits including Sita Ramam (2022), Varisu (2023), Animal (2023), Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), and Chhaava (2025). She is next set to appear in Thamma, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. The film is slated for a Diwali 2025 release.

Vijay Deverakonda, on the other hand, was recently seen in Kingdom, a spy-action thriller directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, earning him praise for his performance. Rashmika had even shared an emotional note on Instagram celebrating Vijay’s commitment to the project, adding further weight to the relationship rumors.

If confirmed, the engagement would mark one of the most anticipated unions in South Indian cinema, uniting two of Tollywood’s most beloved stars both on and off the screen.
