Dehradun, October 1, 2025: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded firmly to the recent exam paper leak involving the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC), highlighting swift action by his government to safeguard the integrity of the recruitment process. Officials from the Chief Minister’s Office confirmed that the accused were immediately arrested, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been set up to thoroughly probe the matter.
Speaking on the issue, Dhami reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the rights of the state’s youth, while accusing opposition parties of politicizing the scandal. He said rival groups tried to exploit the situation by demanding a CBI probe and creating unnecessary unrest for political advantage.
To calm rising tensions, Dhami engaged directly with student representatives, assuring them that a CBI investigation would be conducted to ensure transparency. The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttarakhand enforces one of India’s strictest anti-cheating laws, which has already facilitated thousands of legitimate government job placements and led to the conviction of over 100 individuals involved in malpractice.
Dhami concluded by underscoring his dedication to the youth of the state, stating he is prepared to make personal sacrifices to protect their interests and uphold fairness in public service recruitment.
