Uttarakhand CM Dhami Reviews Relief Work in Bageshwar, Assures Families of Full Support

Bageshwar, Sept 6 — Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday visited Kapkot in Bageshwar district to review relief and rehabilitation efforts in disaster-hit areas. He personally interacted with affected families and assured them of full assistance from the state government.

Sharing details of his visit on X, Dhami wrote, “Upon reaching Kapkot, Bageshwar, a ground inspection of the disaster-affected area was conducted. At the same time, direct communication was held with the affected families, assuring them of every possible assistance and support.”

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure there was no negligence in ongoing relief and rehabilitation works. He stressed that relief materials must swiftly reach every household, the rehabilitation process should remain transparent and time-bound, and no affected person should be left without support.

“Our government is continuously working to serve the public with complete sensitivity and commitment,” Dhami said, adding that local MLA Suresh Garia was present during the inspection.

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, Dhami also carried out a field inspection of flood-affected areas in Laksar and adjoining parts of Haridwar district, where waterlogging and soil erosion had caused severe damage.
