National Times Bureau :- Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan over the phone regarding the severe flooding in the state. During the conversation, Shah sought detailed updates on relief operations and the current situation in affected areas.
The Home Minister also contacted Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to discuss the ongoing crisis in detail and assured that the central government stands ready to provide all possible assistance to support the state’s relief efforts.
Several districts in Punjab have been heavily impacted by continuous rains, causing extensive damage to homes and crops. Relief and rescue teams remain actively deployed on the ground to assist affected communities and mitigate further losses.
