Under PM Modi’s Leadership, Haryana Witnessing Accelerated All-Round Development: CM Nayab Singh Saini

Jind/Chandigarh, July 19: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ‘triple-engine’ government, Haryana is rapidly progressing on the path of comprehensive development. Speaking at a public program in Nandgarh village of the Julana constituency, CM Saini emphasized that the government is committed to living up to the people’s trust and is moving ahead with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also present at the event, where she was felicitated on her birthday with a ceremonial cake-cutting by CM Saini.

CM Saini highlighted that since the BJP government took charge at the Centre in 2014, India has seen transformative development across sectors. Recalling Prime Minister Modi’s launch of the nationwide Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign from Panipat in 2015, he said the initiative empowered daughters, particularly in Haryana.

Merit Over Dynasty in Indian Politics Today

Praising Prime Minister Modi, Saini noted that today in India, leadership is earned through hard work, not dynastic privilege. Referring to Rekha Gupta’s journey from the small village of Nandgarh to the Chief Minister’s office in Delhi, he called it a symbol of a changing India where effort, not lineage, defines a public servant’s rise.

₹20,433 Crore Worth of Development in Julana Since 2014

CM Saini outlined the scale of developmental works undertaken in Julana since 2014, amounting to ₹20,433 crore, compared to just ₹202 crore during the previous Congress rule. Out of 88 development announcements made in Julana, 85 have already been completed, and the rest are underway. Across Jind district, 628 announcements were made, with 541 completed so far.

Among the major projects mentioned were:

Ambala-Kotputli Greenfield Corridor (NH 152D) – ₹10,646 crore

Jind-Gohana-Sonipat Highway (NH 352A) – ₹2,300 crore

Ambala-Hisar via Kaithal (NH 10) – ₹1,200 crore

Jind-Haryana-Punjab border road widening – ₹959 crore

Govt Medical College at Haibatpur – ₹945 crore

New bus stand near Pandu Pindara – ₹32 crore


Delhi and Haryana to Drive the ‘Developed India’ Vision: CM Rekha Gupta

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised the developmental momentum in Haryana under CM Saini’s leadership. She said that the dream of a “Developed India” (Viksit Bharat) will be realized through the collective efforts of progressive states like Delhi and Haryana.

Appreciating the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to inclusive politics, she stated, “Only BJP could make a daughter from a humble background the Chief Minister, upholding the true spirit of democracy.”

Gupta also thanked CM Saini for inaugurating projects worth ₹16.8 crore for Julana residents on her birthday. These included:

₹7.91 lakh for an e-library

₹10.87 lakh for an indoor gym

₹2.34 crore for reconstruction of a sub-branch

₹90.56 lakh for Rajgarh-Jhamola road

₹1.77 crore for Khrainti-Jhamola road

₹5.32 crore for a PHC in Nidana

₹5.72 crore for a PHC in Kinana

₹55.5 lakh for a sub-health center in Nandgarh


Triple-Engine Govt Ensuring Transparent Development: Minister Bedi

Cabinet Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi said that CM Saini’s leadership ensures that welfare schemes are reaching citizens with full transparency and commitment. “Today’s event marks a proud moment not just for Julana, but all of Jind,” he said, calling Rekha Gupta a symbol of Haryana’s pride and inspiration for the youth.

CM Saini Dedicated to Public Service 24/7: Assembly Deputy Speaker

Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishan Lal Middha lauded CM Saini’s humility and dedication, saying, “Even in challenging circumstances, he works for the people around the clock with confidence and a smile.”

Dr. Middha also praised the Modi government’s strides in healthcare, particularly the impact of the Ayushman Bharat scheme on economically weaker families.

Development Projects Are a Historic Gift for Julana: BJP State President

BJP State President Mohan Lal Kaushik thanked CM Saini for gifting Julana multiple development projects. He credited the recent municipal election victories in the region to the CM’s policies and assured that the government will explore industrial setups in the area to boost employment.

The event saw attendance from several dignitaries including MLAs Ramkumar Gautam, Devender Atri, and Randhir Panihar.
