At approximately 1:12 a.m., officers responded to reports of an assault near Falconridge Boulevard and Castleridge Boulevard N.E. It is alleged that the two suspects attacked the driver after he refused their request to deviate from the designated route, showcasing the driver’s unwavering commitment to safety. One passenger attempted to intervene but sustained no serious injuries, demonstrating the power of community and resilience. The driver was transported to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable, a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
