Tragic Road Accident in Himachal’s Kangra: 4 Pilgrims from Moga Killed, 29 Injured

National Times Bureau :- A tragic road accident took place on the Chamunda-Dharamshala road, claiming the lives of four pilgrims from Bhageke village in Punjab’s Moga district, while around 29 others were injured.

According to initial information, a group of devotees from Bhageke had traveled in a Mahindra pickup to offer prayers at the Chamunda Devi temple. While returning after the darshan, the vehicle met with a serious accident.

One woman died on the spot, while three more devotees — including another woman and two men — succumbed to their injuries during treatment at Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital, Tanda.

As news of the accident reached Bhageke village, a wave of grief spread among the residents. Families and relatives of the victims gathered in mourning, expressing deep sorrow over the untimely deaths.

Police have registered the case and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
