New Delhi, August 10, 2025 – US electric vehicle giant Tesla will open its second Indian Experience Centre on August 11 at Worldmark 3, Aerocity, New Delhi, further expanding its footprint in the country’s rapidly growing EV market. The centre will offer visitors the opportunity to explore Tesla’s latest electric offerings, including the recently launched Model Y midsize SUV.
Tesla entered the Indian market on July 15 with the Model Y, priced from ₹60 lakh. The SUV is available in two variants — the ₹60 lakh Rear-Wheel Drive, delivering a range of up to 455 km and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, and the ₹68 lakh Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive, with an extended range of up to 622 km and 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. An optional Full Self-Driving package is offered for ₹6 lakh.
Customers can select from six exterior colours, with Stealth Grey as the standard option, while Pearl White Multi-Coat, Diamond Black, Ultra Red, Quicksilver, and Glacier Blue are available at an additional cost. Interiors come in black or white, configured as a five-seater. The Model Y features rapid supercharging, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seating, a hands-free power liftgate, and advanced driver assistance supported by eight exterior cameras and upgraded second-generation hardware.
The Aerocity launch follows the opening of Tesla’s first Indian showroom at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai less than a month ago. At present, Tesla’s sales, deliveries, and registrations are available in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, with Model Y deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
