Patna Sahib, May 21, 2025: In a significant religious decision, the Five Pyare Sahiban of Takht Sri Patna Sahib have declared Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj and Giani Tek Singh as Tankhaiya guilty of religious misconduct for actions deemed to have violated the sanctity and authority of the Takht.
The decision was made following a detailed review meeting at the Takht Sahib, where both individuals were found to have issued an unauthorized Hukamnama that contradicted established orders from the Takht (specifically Tapas/5/H/2022, Tapas/10/H/2022, and Tapas/14/H/2022 issued in 2022). These actions were deemed to have breached the code of conduct and undermined the spiritual sovereignty of Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib.
Additionally, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has been accused of interference and conspiracy in this matter. He has been summoned to appear before the Five Pyare Sahiban at Takht Patna Sahib within ten days. Non-compliance may result in further religious action.
The Management Committee and Administrative Board of Takht Patna Sahib have been ordered not to acknowledge or act on the unauthorized directive from Giani Kuldeep Singh and Giani Tek Singh, particularly their call to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The Five Pyare Sahiban emphasized that any attempt to weaken the authority of Takht Patna Sahib will not be tolerated.
