Victoria (Rajeev Sharma): The Government of British Columbia has unveiled a budget that includes plans to eliminate 15,000 full time equivalent public sector jobs by the end of the 2028/29 fiscal year as part of efforts to “right-size” government operations. The reductions are expected to generate savings of $2.85 billion over three years.
