Winnipeg, February 2, 2026 — An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with a random knife attack that left a passerby injured in downtown Winnipeg, police said.According to the Winnipeg Police Service, officers received multiple emergency calls around 5:30 p.m. on Friday reporting a disturbance in the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
