Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) - A delegation of the Punjab Arhtiya (commission agents) Association met Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini at his Sant Kabir Kutir residence in Chandigarh. During the meeting, various issues concerning arhtiyas in Punjab were discussed in detail. The delegation informed the Chief Minister that around 40,000 arhtiyas, nearly 1.25 lakh accountants (munims), and 6–7 lakh workers are associated with this system in Punjab.
