Lucknow: In a major relief for lakhs of state employees and retirees, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a 3% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), bringing the total to 58%. The revised rate will be applicable from July 1, 2025. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made the announcement on Thursday, calling it a step towards financial empowerment for government personnel and pensioners in the state.
