Toronto ( Rajeev Sharma): Peel Regional Police have made a major arrest in connection with what is being described as the largest gold theft in Canadian history. Arsalan Chaudhary (43) was arrested early this morning at Toronto Pearson International Airport after arriving on a flight from Dubai. Chaudhary has been indicted and is scheduled to appear before a Brampton court, facing charges related to the theft of 400 kilograms of gold valued at approximately $20 million, along with $2.5 million in cash.
