National Times Bureau :- The monsoon has officially withdrawn from Punjab and Haryana, while its presence in Uttarakhand has weakened. Meteorologists expect the system to retreat from Uttarakhand within the next week. For now, only light rainfall is likely in the state. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Punjab received 48% above-average rainfall during this monsoon season. From June 1 to date, the state recorded 621.4 mm of rainfall, against the normal 420.9 mm.
