Third language to become mandatory from 2025–26 under NEPChandigarh, April 7 – The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), Bhiwani, has decided to implement the three-language formula in all affiliated government and private schools for students of Classes 9 and 10, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.Providing details, Board Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar stated that from the 2025–26 academic session, students of Class 9 will be required to study seven subjects—six compulsory and one optional.
