Tharali relief operations

Chamoli (Uttarakhand), August 25: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday conducted a ground inspection of Tharali in Chamoli district, one of the areas worst affected by the recent cloudburst. During the visit, he halted his convoy to personally listen to the concerns of the disaster-hit villagers, many of whom urged him to expedite the restoration of road connectivity to upper villages.Responding to their appeals, the chief minister assured that road clearance work was being carried out on a war footing.
