Chandigarh, September 15 – In a major push to achieve the goals of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, the Haryana government is drafting new solid waste management plans exclusively for Faridabad, Gurugram, and Manesar. Separate Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be prepared for these cities, distinct from the rest of the state.Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel announced the initiative while chairing a meeting at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh, attended by representatives of 42 solid waste management agencies from across the country.
