Haryana Government Announces Cane Dues Payment and Flood Relief Measures in Hansi Villages

Chandigarh, August 27 – Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana informed the Assembly that sugarcane farmers are owed ₹16.74 crore by Narayangarh Sugar Mill for the 2024-25 season. Out of this amount, ₹5.40 crore will be released by September 5, while the remaining ₹11.34 crore will be cleared by December 15, 2025, after the commencement of the crushing season in November.
