Mohali, December 15, 2025: Kabaddi promoter and player Rana Balachauria, who was critically injured in a firing incident during a Kabaddi tournament in Sohana on Monday, succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Hospital authorities declared him brought dead.According to preliminary information, Balachauria sustained four to five bullet injuries to the head when unidentified assailants opened fire at the tournament venue.
