Sangrur, February 22, 2025 – Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched a major sanitation initiative on Saturday, flagging off 216 state-of-the-art super suction-cum-jetting machines to improve sewage cleaning in seven districts. Addressing the gathering at Ranbir College, Sangrur, he also announced a series of development projects aimed at enhancing sanitation, healthcare, education, and road safety in Punjab. Advanced Machinery for Cleaner Cities The 216 new machines, purchased for ₹14.30 crore, will be deployed in Sangrur, Barnala, Bathinda, Malerkotla, Mansa, Patiala, and Fatehgarh Sahib.
