Tokyo: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he had a “wonderful meeting” with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, during which the two leaders discussed strengthening India–Japan relations.Modi noted that Kishida has consistently been a strong advocate of closer ties between the two nations. Their discussions covered progress in bilateral cooperation in trade, critical technologies, and human resource mobility.The Prime Minister further highlighted that both sides also explored new opportunities in emerging sectors, including advanced technology and semiconductors.
