Chandigarh: In a major initiative to strengthen rural entrepreneurship and empower women, the Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission (PSRLM) has launched “PEHEL Mart,” a dedicated outlet for handmade and organic products crafted by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from across the state.The mart was inaugurated at the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh, by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, in the presence of Chief Secretary KAP Sinha and Ajit Balaji Joshi, Administrative Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats.Showcasing Punjab’s cultural heritage, the marketplace offers a diverse collection of sustainable products, including traditional Phulkari embroidery, suits, juttis, honey, pickles, squash,…
