Tarn Taran (Punjab), April 21, 2025 — In a significant breakthrough in the Sarpanch Bachittar Singh murder case, the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Tarn Taran Police have arrested Sukhbir Singh alias Sukh, the main accused, in a joint operation. The arrest comes amid Punjab’s intensified crackdown on organized crime, directed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.Sukhbir Singh, a resident of Barwala in Tarn Taran, was apprehended near Gurdwara Sahib in Pahuwind village.
