Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — The Haryana Legislative Assembly on Tuesday unanimously adopted a government resolution moved by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to commemorate the upcoming 650th Prakash Parv of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas through the nationwide ‘Guru Ravidas Maharaj Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan’. The multi-month campaign, which commenced on Guru Purnima on July 29, 2026, and will conclude on February 20, 2027, is designed to disseminate Guru Ravidas’s enduring philosophy of social equality, compassion, human service, and communal harmony across every section of society.
