Jalandhar, August 20 – A disturbing incident in Phillaur, Jalandhar, has prompted immediate action from the Punjab State Women’s Commission and local police. A 19-year-old girl was allegedly drugged, sexually assaulted, and filmed by two youths, who reportedly circulated the video on social media.Taking suo motu notice, Punjab Women’s Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill described the case as “extremely appalling” and urged strict legal action.
