Mohali, April 21, 2025: Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat stated that wheat arrival and procurement are progressing at full pace across the state’s mandis. With effective arrangements in place, farmers are facing no issues during the process. So far, 39.15 lakh metric tons of wheat have arrived in the mandis, of which 35.09 lakh metric tons have been purchased.Barsat further shared that for the 2025-26 Rabi season, strong arrangements have been made with the convenience of farmers, commission agents, and laborers in mind.
