Chandigarh, May 18, 2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs has officially confirmed the suspension of senior IPS officer Surinder Pal Singh Parmar (PB:1997), who formerly served as Punjab's Vigilance Chief. The suspension will remain in effect until June 23, 2025.According to a formal communication sent to the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the suspension has been approved under Rule 3(1) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969.
