Chandigarh, November 25, 2025 — As part of the 350th martyrdom anniversary celebrations of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Punjab government has launched free transit services for devotees in its three “holy cities” — Amritsar, Talwandi Sabo, and Anandpur Sahib — and announced several major development initiatives for Anandpur Sahib.Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that free e-rickshaws and mini-buses will operate across the three holy cities to ferry pilgrims between key gurdwaras, with the state bearing all operational costs.
